Nighttime Rodeo Practice

With rodeos locally every weekend during the next month, locals are out late practicing their roping and riding skills. This shot was taken around 11 PM in Randolph, Utah.

My filly was on the edge of my life when I made that video, Jen. :-) I've since jumped the fence and am with her. It's been over a year now that this "heavy horse" got happy.

I love rodeos! We usually go to the one that is here in our town but we were camping when it came through. So no rodeo's for us this year. *sigh*

I highly recommend a 'real' camera! :) Not sure if this will make any sense but I generally shoot all my photos at f/2.8 - f/3.2. (Gives me the blurred background) Then I post process them all and pop the color in Photoshop. Thats where I get the vibrant colors. And yes, I intentionally blew out the background on my sis's pics. If the clouds were cool or something (which they werent) i could have kept them in Photoshop. Anyway- that was confusing... but Im all for the SLR cameras! :)
